We returned home excited and overjoyed only

to discover that Prissy was taken to the hospital today by Greg. She called me at around 7 p.m. to see if I'd gotten home and informed me that she was the hospital because of the pain she was having and the swelling she has been experiencing. I called her at 11:30 p.m right before this post to see if she was home since I hadn't heard from in a few hours. She is still at the hospital, they have performed at cat scan and are trying to determine if her intestines are blocked and if so what they need to do about it. Please pray for her and hopefully they will find something out very soon.

On a lighter note; today was very important for my family. This morning (June 1) we were in Charleston for my husband, Eric's naturalization ceremony.  My daughter and I were super excited that he became a citizen today and are thankful this very long process has now come to an end! Prissy really wanted to travel with u; but the fact we were out of town for 4 days and that she is still healing and having some issues with her health, she was not able to go; but I know she was there in spirit and I can bet you a million dollars if she hadn't had her accident, she would have been there to support Eric.

Below is a picture  of Eric, Mimi, and I after the ceremony; it is not the best picture, but it will do!

Please continue to pray for Scilla and sweet baby Emma!
